This inquiry comes from one M. Costello.
"How many Presidents died on July 4th?"
The answer is three:
John Adams (our 2nd president) in 1826.
Thomas Jefferson (our 3rd president) also in 1826.
These two are spooky because one spoke some of his last words about the other still being alive...and it was the same exact day.
Five years later, James Monroe (our 5th president) passed away.
A little irony of sorts.
